I am not allowed to put pictures of the children's faces on the Internet, so I can't put many of the pictures that I have taken, but I will post a few! For some reason, I can not move my pictures to be under the text, so I just have to leave it like that way it uploaded. So sorry! And once again, sorry that I can't put pictures of the kids on the Internet, but I will show pictures when I get home.
The first picture is of Katherine and I this morning. We were sitting on the top bunk of our beds and just talking and reading. I am so thankful that she and I are able to share this trip together. She has so much love for the children too!
The second picture is of one of our kitchen sinks-it gets full of baby bottles during the day, which we clean and then sterlize in large bins of hot, hot cleaning water. The fidge is full of little bins with each child's name on it because each bottle needs to have different ounces in it.
The third picture is of a beautiful sunset from the balcony of Door of Hope. The clouds in the sky are not normal for a winter day in South Africa. All the winter days are usually blue sky and sunny-my favorite!
Lots of love to you all!
Me and the Family are praying for you Rachel. God Bless and keep it up! I know God will use you greatly this summer in many lives.

ReplyDeleteHi Rachael, I just can't stop thinking about you. My friend Julia Miller knows Kathrine. I sent Julia your blog and she immediately contacted me because she was so excited to see you there with Kathrine. I know those babies are falling in love with you as well as everyone else there. We miss you and love you soooooooo very much. XOXOXOXOXOX. Much love and lots of prayers to you. Patricia, Michael and Clay
ReplyDeleteHey Rachel. It's David Friel...whoop whoop. I hope you're having a good time over there in S.A. I'm trying to picture you sitting on the front bumper of a Safari vehicle with a rifle in your hand wearing an enormous Safari hat going on a hunt, but its just not looking right in my head so I'll just draw a picture for you when you get back. I'm praying for you, but mainly for the kids...because I know what they must be going through with you watching out for them; just putting myself in their shoes. Haha, I'm just giving you a hard time like I always have and always will, so suck it up and smile. Do a good job over there and make us proud, but have fun. Talk to you soon, David.
ReplyDeleteHey Rachel!
ReplyDeleteI have so wanted to write to you but my computer was messed up and this is the first chance I have gotten to write. I just wanted to let you know you have been on my lips to our Lord Jesus everyday as I pray through our 40 days of prayer calendar, and I just want you to know that I am so proud of you and have enjoyed reading your blog - keep it up! I know that God has great plans for you and I told Wayne and the kids the other day that I bet those little children think you are an angel when they see you with that blond hair, blue eyes and beautiful smile! I will continue to keep you in my prayers daily until you are back home and I hope that you experience all that God has in store for you at Doors Of Hope, and that He uses you in a mighty way.
All good thoughts, prayers and hugs to you,
Donna Moore
